Depending on what you really want on the Internet, share files, share printers, Internet connections, action, etc., have different things. However, a simple network is generally connected as a star with a wired or wireless router in the middle and the use of cables or wireless clients with other devices / computers to the router to consider.

The default router must be configured to send IP addresses to all devices on the network to communicate among themselves and with the router.

If you have a wireless client or the equipment they need the installation CD that came with your router and follow the instructions to create a secure wireless SSID.

After configuring the physical network is not necessary, all computers have the same workgroup (assuming your Windows). You can change or modify the working group in your computer by right-clicking "My Computer" (must be visible on your desktop or by clicking the Start button at the bottom of the screen on the left), click Properties, click on Computer Name tab the top, click Edit, change the nameYour computer must have (a unique name in the network) and change the working group

Then you have to set up a software firewall or security mess in the computer for networking. Personally, run a software firewall, after turning off the computer behind a router, and they do the same thing (Protect) directly accessible from your computer to computers outside of the Internet.

To use an Internet connection, you need a router / hub. Power to the center, in order to invite a CAT5 cable Ethernet port on any computer, then into the hub ports. ensure that each computer is set to the same workgroup, and the sharing of files over a network shared

Read the instructions set or someone who knows what they are doing. Ask a question that has long been solved.
