Non Epileptic Seizures Non-epileptic Seizures In Dog?

Non-epileptic Seizures in Dog? - non epileptic seizures

Is there any cause other diseases with similar symptoms, such as the seizure in a healthy dog can? I have a 2.5 and / or Aussie / Border Collie puppies, which began with attacks. First, an accident observed twice in his room in the morning, during a period of 2 weeks. Then we have min witness the first attack - 5th long strokes, loss of bowel or bladder control, foaming at the mouth, etc. When the breathing stopped beating, hard to continue and was blinded temporarily after 10 minutes was up, but once again on shaky legs after 30 minutes it was OK, but a lot of speed. This pattern is repeated more than once a week, but with the seizure will take approx 1st The following week there were 4 more, including 3 in 24 hours. It is phenobarbital - 2 grams per day. Who is no longer the immediate crisis, but he had another 2 the next day 6/04/07. We do not know whether there is a reaction to the turmoil in the fireworks, or for other reasons. Are there other causes for the seizures?

They should bring him to the vet and see what they think, and I could think of some other cause, perhaps someone in the striking, belonged to someone else that they can not be violated?

At least two of you have mentioned 3-race may have inherited epilepsy ... Why do not you believe it?
They should bring him to the vet and put it on a recipe that she checked daily.

I think that stress contribute to an attack against a person because of epilepsy, but not cause epilepsy, or in fact 'Cause Crises come anyway ..... Nothing wrong with the brain can cause seizures, anuerism as a tumor or brain injury. In one dog, Scout myself on its territory for any kind of poison! looking for something that could have any contact with the host plant. Venom may occur.
